2 FORMS OF AFTER CARE BELOW:

FIRST FORM OF AFTERCARE SANIDERM INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Keep your bandage on for 5 days. The tattoo wrap will fill up with both blood and plasma. This is completely normal and actually aids in the healing process of your tattoo. 

2. After 5 days, remove your bandage in the shower with warm water, slowly peel it from the top to the bottom to avoid irritation and ingrown hairs.

3. Once the bandage has been removed you can wash your tattoo with anti-bacterial soap and water. 

4. Allow the tattoo to air dry and gently pat dry with clean paper towel.

5. Continue to clean tattoo 2-3 times daily with antibacterial soap and moisturize 3-4 times daily with unscented lotion.

IF SANIDERM WAS NOT PLACED AND JUST SARAN WRAP PLASTIC PLACED FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

 

SECOND FORM OF AFTERCARE:

1. Keep bandage on and remove after 2-6 hours

2. Gently wash tattoo by hand with luke warm water and with dial anti-bacterial unscented soap.

3. Allow the tattoo to air dry and gently pat dry with a paper towel.

4. Apply very small amount of aquaphor or unscented lotion for first day or two. Then start applying unscented lotion for the remainder of the healing process (Aveno, Curel).
